The history of drumming started way back in....... No I won't bother with the boring stuff, but I started drumming about 20 years ago when metal was metal and neighbours complained. Neighbours still complain but at least it's only rubber pads I'm bashing away with.
MY KIT
I moved away from the acoustic kits because I saw what guitarists could do with the electric guitar and thought hmmm if only we can do that too. We can now and I use the latest Yamaha (who I'm endorsed with) DTX III and layer all sorts of sounds. I have about 9 pads on the kit (+kick) and each has 3 zones so I can trigger different sounds from hitting in slightly different places. I also use a Zendrum for some special gigs.
WHAT ELSE?
Well I live in Acton, West London, where I've been for the last 4 years. I tend to listen to a lot of rock/indie and of course loads of dance. At the moment I'm listening to the Goombay Dance Bands greatest hits, a real classic you have to admit.
